Professional Experience

Matt is a shareholder in Lozen, Kovar & Lozen.  He attended Wayne State University Law School where he received his J.D. in 2009.  He has previously served as an intern for the St. Clair County Prosecutor’s Office as well as for the Hon. Daniel Kelly in the St. Clair County Circuit Court and the Hon. John A. Gadola in the Genesee County Circuit Court.  In 2004 Matt spent a semester in London, England interning for the criminal defense firm T.V. Edwards, LLP.  Matt attended Albion College where he graduated with a degree in History and presented at the school’s prestigious Elkin Isaac Research Symposium. During his time at Albion he was also a Residential Advisor and participated in the tennis, cross country, and track programs.
